About This Webinar

For some time, human resources policies and procedures have been perceived as controversial and even bureaucratic; however, over time there has been a change in direction that now sees a closer link between the human resources function (including its policies and procedures) and the organisation’s overall strategic and business plans.

Human resources policies and procedures are therefore key for any organisation as they provide direction and structure that supports its operation, of course to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and regulations, but as well, to give guidance to management and employees, support decision-making and ensure the efficacy of organisational processes.

Of course, we cannot ignore that having robust policies and procedures in place, is an important step towards compliance; it is equally important to ensure that all employees, and that includes the organisation’s management, adhere to and advocate the requirements and benefits of these policies.
